Traditional Suites

When looking around the store last week I realised there were very few traditional 3 piece leather suites. The combination of seats you choose to buy for your sofas can be decided by a number of different factors, the most important being the shape and size of your living area. As I have mentioned in many previous posts the main reason for market trends changing is due to the size of new homes being built. To get some ideas of how you want your home to look click here.

Leather three peice suites were always the most popular way for consumers, and home owners to buy their sofas, and chairs, but this has changed over the last ten years or so. There are still lots of customers who prefer to buy suites instead of 3 and 2 seater sofa combinations, and some designs look much better when made with one sofa, and two armchairs. Some of the more classical designs from England, and Italy are still popular today, and although there have been 2 seater sofas made to accommodate the modern market, true furniture makers know they do not look as good as when complimented with two armchairs.

When people are looking for recliner sofas, there is an even split for those looking for a 3 and 2 seater sofa set, and others who want a traditional 3 piece suite. Many of the leather recliner sofas we sell at Furniture Lifestyle, come with a deep seat, and high back cushions. This creates a design much more fitting to be sold as a suite, because the chairs look fantastic in this style. Leather suites are still readily available, but most retailers hold stock for sofa sets, especially with static models.

If you find a leather sofa you like, it is more than likely that it will be available with chairs, but you will probably have to wait longer, as it will be made as a special order. There are many leather suites online that are not available in the store and vice versa, so be sure to talk to a sales assistant about what combinations you want.
